rear seats

Do the rear seats in A4 2006 saloon fold down?

I cant see any lever to let me do this.

Was it an option from new?

Hi Pete, my 55 plate A4 does not have folding rear seat - it was an 'option'. New ones from now have it as standard I think - bit fo a pain for 'long' object transportation. I think the Avant had fold down as 'standard'

Not sure if it can be retro fitted by a dealer, however I suspect teh cost would be high...does anyone else know?

This is one of them options which gets forgotten when ordering..

it only costs about £100 when ordered from new,.... to retro fit its not worth it at all as you need to replace the full rear seats, backplate and mounts..

Buy a roof rack like i did for trips to B&Q.
