Hi Guys..
Got a 51 plate Golf turbo..only done 33k
The EML keeps comng on..I have had it into a good independant garage,they put the car on Vagcom and read the codes.
There was quite a few codes initially,but the one that seemed most relevant was a turbo prssure code,relating to a diffence in pressure between throttle body and turbo.
A new boost presure valve was fittted.And it seemed to cure the problem for a couple of weeks.
Now the light is back on again,and the same fault is there.Under the fault code description it said "CHECK DV"...Is this diverter valve,dump valve???
My indy is suggesting that it may be the wastegate pack inside the turbo sticking.
Just to add....The car runs great....Apart from it feels a little "too quick",if you get what i mean..
