mk3 1992 gti 8v running rought need help

hi i have a 1992 k reg 2l 8v gti golf i have had a few problems in past 2 days i was crusing threw town and it started fireing on 3 clyinders so i replaced the spark plugs ht leads and ditributer cap and cleaned out iac unit this seemed to sort it out untill today then it seems to be going down the samr rought again does any one have i clue what could be the problem could be im running out of ideas

pluss i also have a mk3 gti 16v 1997 in mint condition alloys a/c at 81k miles does any one know what she is worth as baby on way forcing sale i am only her second owner since new i have full service history and evan 1st pre delivery inspection notes

You need to have the problem car fault code read but coils are a common failure.
