I have accidentally put that tesco "superfuel" in my mk2 and now im having trouble getting it to start.
I can start it if i have the choke all the way out and put my foot flat on the gas then once it has started it is very hesitant and lumpy until it gets warm.

Please tell me this is just the fuel and i have not ****** the engine.

It could just be that the engine is very cold. Mine does it too.

I had only left the car standing for max of half an hour.
It seems to be ok now tho starts first turn of the key.

the engines on mk2 golfs are strange but they do sound really nice.
