Hi guys,
I assume that both the Engine Check Light and the EPC should light up briefly on start up and then clear if there are no faults present ?
Mine don't come on at all, so can i assume that:
A) They have both blown ?
B) They have both been removed, to hide a fault ?
C) Another item has failed which drives both these lights ?
This is on a '99 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Sport. It has Audi FSH and in the paperwork mentions that the ABS ECU was replaced two years ago. This was due to lighting the ABS indicator even though there was no fault with the rest of the systen. Could these faults be related ?
I've had the car a couple of weeks and it drives faultlessly, by far the nicest car i have ever driven. I'm 99% percent sure they were working when I test drove it, but it was one of six cars that I viewed in a short period of time.
Any ideas ?
