Hi Folks
Since i bought the car i have always had the information display telling me on start up that the rear hatch is open (A4 2000mdl Soft touch boot release handle) There is no problem it is both closed and it locks fine.
I have had it looked at and there are no obvious shorts/ water ingress/ play in the catch.
Is there a way using vag com or similar to disable the warning for the rear hatch permanently.
I know its only a minor issue, but it is finally starting to really get on my wick and i don't fancy spending more dosh on something that is working mechanically
