:yikes:HELP!!!
Ok, sorry I am still looking for the headlight, but now I have some more problems.

The brake warning light is flashing and won't go off, I've read all the posts about this problem already, but none seem to relate to an A6 as old as mine. Does this mean my front discs are knackered??? Brake fluid level is fine, rear discs and pads being replaced tomorrow. Could the cracked rear disc be the problem?

Also I have no owner's manual (as you have probably guessed), does anyone know where I can download one?

Many thanks to anyone who can help.

I have the brake light warning on my 1997 A6 Avant(C4)

my pads are new yet the plug for the pad sensor has been badly damadged at some point so I doubt it's working right.

I doubt the rear disk would be the problem, though mine are shot!!

I don't think there are sensors on the rear for wear only abs.

I had a dodgy wire cause this on mine. It's attached to the front passenger side caliper. New cable was £14 I think and cured it.

On mine the pad has a wire that plugs into the loom for the brakes, did you change the pads again or the car loom wire?
