Bulb Replacements

I am only new to the site and I feel that these questions may have been already answered in the past but perhaps somebody can help.

My partner owns a 2002 Polo and I need to replace the headlamp bulb and cant seem to remove it. Perhaps someone can guide me through the procedure. I also need to replace a stop light bulb. Do I need to remove the whole lamp unit to replace this bulb?

Do Volkswagen make all these simple procedures so difficult???

Hi,

Unsure about the front bulbs but the rears could be a similar procedure to the Golfs.
