My first post here.

Last Monday I had the misfortune of having a collision with a four wheel drive Honda that pulled out from a side road into a dual carriage-way in front of me resulting in a broadside collision. My A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI Sport suffered extensive frontal damage but I suffered only injuries caused by the seat belt tightening across my chest. Today both vehicles have been written off.

My Audi was purchased new in February 2006 and now I am wondering what the Insurers will pay. Looking at Used prices on the main Audi site it seems that an equivalent model is almost the same price as I paid new. Has anyone any tips on how to replace my written off car and deal with the insurers?

You will end up haggling with the insurance company to get a good price for your write off.

One good way to prove the value of your car is to provide evidence of other simaliar cars (trim, mileage, options etc)... you've started in the right place. Print off the used cars you found on Audi's web site.
