:1zhelp::1zhelp:I've brought my old passat to France and put it through the controle tecnique (equivalent of UK mot) it failed because of headlamps and price of new ones is £128 (yes pounds) each - more than car's worth - anyone any ideas where to get old ones - or I could offer my average UK ones for swap

Having trawled the salvage yards in Burgundy (well two actually but the're few and far between) I've been told that my car is either too old or too new for the twin headlamps - I thought that I could adjust the dip beam to conform but for some reason it does not work. Does any one know a salvage place in UK that might have the continental light units and get them shipped here - just thinking that someone might have done the same in reverse - off to Dijon now to search again - might have to call into Nuits St Georges !!
