Parcel Shelf MYstery

my 3 Parcel shelf is in excellent condition apart from 1 thing
the pivot luggs have come unstuck and are missing..(i did know this when i bought it),,...yes it hangs with ties but has no-pivot luggs to tilt it correctly

Q....is this a well known problem with 2004 A3's...?
can the lugs be bought seperately
or has it got to be a brandnew parcel shelf..even tho mine is pristine...seems such a shame ....

I had a similar problem when I bought my 2003 A3. You can get new ones from the dealer they are cheap (or a scrappy can help out). But they are really strangely attached with some clips that are behind the plastic window surround. You have to take that of. In the end I didn't bother but superglued the new ones in place. Job done and you wouldn't know the difference.
