I'm planning on buying a (new shape) Passat - I think.
The Passat I've seen at a VW dealer is a 55 (Dec 05) plate 2.0 Tdi (140) SE with 35k on the clock. It's also got leather, front & rear parking sensors and a towbar (that I'll never use). It's on at £13995 and I'll be trading my (beloved) Seat Leon TDI FR against it (I'm getting £10500 for it).
My question is about residual values.... Is this car worth that amount of money? Also, I'll be doing about 20k miles a year so how badly will this hit it's value in another 2 years time?
