I've got my eyes on two similarly priced mk3 diesels on ebay, both around 1200 squid. One's a TD (AAZ engine) and the other is a TDi
Is there any major difference? I'm not bothered about speed as much as reliability and feul economy.
I've got a 96 mk3 standard diesel at the moment, and I love it, but want to upgrade to 4 door, better spec, etc. Will I notice a speed increase from the standard to the Turbo versions?
Will a TD/TDI use more fuel or about the same?
My standard diesel does around 46mpg combined, which is less than I've read......but it tend to do 70-80 on the motorway, rather than 55-60.
