Just seen my first R8 out and about on the road... them front DRL's look sexy!

sold 23 delivered 8 best colour is red so far followed by white with silver side blades.Just think the rest of these r8 orders are for the v10 and the spider so i am very very happy and people are queing up to order the r8.Two weeks ago i was talking to one of the r8 customers who took are first delivary and he had sold his black r8 and made a 20,000 grand profit.He has a spider and a v10 on order and his run about is a rs4.Luck bugger

Saw one on Saturday on the A666 towards Bolton. It was a silver one and TBH it did not stand out at all. Very low key much like a 911.

I was driving from Inverness to Aberdeen last Sunday and this fantastic sounding black R8 was infront of me... for about 5 minutes until there was space to overtake. Gone. I was haring up the dual carriageway wizzing past the Fiat Punto's in the slow lane and hear sirens. Ooopps... Thankfully it wasn't for me.

Coppers pull up next to me and stare at my car. The passenger pig turned to the other one and they sped off down the road. They must have thought I was the black Audi they were after... Was quite funny. I hope the guy in the R8 didn't caught because your car made the best noise I'd heard all weekend! :biglaugh:

What a lovely car though. My Dad was thinking of swapping a Merc AMG SLR 55 for a second hand R8. He won't swap his 911 understandably. I think he should save up for the diesel though! :biglaugh:
