Heater problems

HELP!!! Can anyone help me with the heater problems in my 1998 Octavia 1.9 tdi, The heater fan has stopped working completely. The problem first started with the fan only working when the outside temperature was below 6 degrees, and would occasionaly start when I went over a bump, but has since packed up completely, I would appreciate any help from anyone who has had the same problems...Many thanks in anticipation, Warehouse.

Had the fault checked at the local garage (not a Skoda dealer) it turned out to be the motor has burned out, the garage has located a motor from a V W golf, at a local breakers and is fitting it at a total cost, including fitting of £147, cant complain, Ive had the car for 6 years, it has clocked up 117000 miles, and apart from brakes, tyres etc, it has not beena scrap of bother.
