i have recentley bought a 2001 t4 2.5 and it is in need of new tyres and really know nothing about cars/vans what would a good tyre for this van. i will be using the van for work and pleasure.

Hi Tom,

Make sure they are RF (Reinforced) tyres with a minimum load index of 97 (99 and above preferably).
Try www.protyre.co.uk. You can input size or even your registration number and it'll give you correct load rating etc.

don't buy cheap tyres, I have done this and they just don't last.I have put a set of firestones on recently and they seem pretty good.

Are you running on standard 195/70 R 15's? As above, Firestone is a good option, or we get good feedback on Falken Commercial Tyres. Just make sure that they are reinforced as MuttayXXX77 reccomended. I would reccomend continental van-co as a first choice, but they are hard to get hold of at the moment?
