Hi all,

Just managed to get some money together to get my car sorted, managed to get a quote of £1250+ for list of thing the dealer service said should be done not sure what I need to do cuase this seems way too expensive. I live in the wolverhampton area so if there are any places you know of that can help that would be great, if not my work collegue suggested Autotechniks, Rowley Regis.

The work needed according to the dealer are:

Full Service: £240
Cam belt change: £300
Water Pump: £50
Brake fluid: £50
Key Replacement: £35

Looking at the prices above.. i would think you would be able to find a good indi garage which could do it for about £800 all in..

if you are able to do the work your self you could get it done for £500 using OEM parts i bet..

its a same your not close to me as i could of got a mate of mine to complete this for you.

Have you had the work done ? Just wondered if you had experienced Autotechnik yet ? (need to get an A3 and A6 serviced, have heard good things about those guys from an independant Audi trader)
