A4 Headlight Bulb Change

Hi ive got an A4 2.0 Sport, i wanted to know how you change the bulb in the headlight (the one with the ball - HID)

Would prefer Pictures PLEASE!!!!!!!

I would buy a haynes manual £18. I also understand that the round ball headlight is not nessary a HID lamp, Just the focused beam type. Check your option list codes in boot/service manual if not sure.

If you car is fitted with "HID" or XENON bulbs, I would recommend taking the car to a dealer. These type of bulbs can prove fatal if you are not sure what you are doing. I belive, from reading other forums, that the igniter for these types of bulb kick out in the region of 20000v.. enough to kill you!

Before they can be removed they need to be discharged.
