Running problems

Hello all

I've picked up a 2009 2.0 tsi Scirocco with some running issues which has clearly had a lot time and money thrown at it from the previous owner / garage.

It's very lumpy when running. I will upload a copy of the scan that I carried out today.

Its had a full set of coils. Cam and crank sensors ( prior to me getting it ) new timing chain which I've checked the timing and all is ok. Compression tested the cylinders. All 160-180 psi.
Runs 95% when first started from cold but as it warms up becomes lumpy.

As you can see from the scans it picks up on a cam signal to be faulty.

Has anyone experienced anything like this ?

Sorry just noticed the cam fault code isn't on that list. Do they have any known issue with throttle bodies?

The throttle body fault suggests it needs cleaning, if not it may need replacing, check wiring and any fuses too. I had a throttle body issue, mines a TDI, it was full of carbon, once cleaned fault code went automatically after a few drives. It didn't sort any of my issues out however.

which to me says there is a timing error somewhere.

I don't know if it is the same engine as yours but may give you some pointers.

Although incorrect in actual date, the time, date, rpm, road speed etc stamps are all exactly at the same moment suggesting a wiring fault but what was the 40 fault code as your cars build date of 09.06.2009 and engine code CAWB 066632 puts it right in the problem area for chain tensioner failure.
