First MOT

Car goes in for its first MOT next week. Apart from the obvious is there anything that I should do/check.

I have a Passat 130 TDI.

Bit of a "how long is my piece of string" question..

I would have a quick check of tyres, lights and straightforward things that I could change quickly but if your MOT is next week you don't have a lot of time to do much!

clean her and send her on chief,if it is running ok and you have had no diffs,check the obvious,lights tyres,etc......other than that if there is something wrong,let them tell you rather than spending out a fortune for something that may have been ok.my father in law spent almost 300 quid for a pre mot service,i took the car out for him to the test centre..and it failed on a few points..he was out a further 250 quid!!!:mad:

As Jack says.
I used to go over the car checking everything. I would take it to the MOT station and they would find something. Just check the obvious and let them do the comprehensive check ;)
