Hi all,
A couple of months ago my A4 1.8T had the oil pick up changed because it had gunked up, but I realised this after doing 70mph up the M6. The car seemed to run fine, no loss of power, after the works but there has always been a faint cloud of white smoke out of the exhaust ever since which I have found to be the coolant level.
There isn't any white smoke on start up, only when the car is running warm and there isn't any gunk in the oil cap either.
I'm going to be taking it back to the garage who did the oil pick up change, but has anyone had this problem where coolant seems to be leaking in to the exhaust but not mixing with the oil?
