Hello all,

I've just bought an 02 A4 Cab - very nice!

I have noticed that there are some scratches on the aluminum trim that the roof sits on. These are very light [i.e. not very deep] but you can really see them in the right light when the roof is down. It looks like someone made them putting something into the car with the roof down.

So anyway, I was wondering if there is any way to remove them - T-Cut? or something similar perhaps?

I don't know if this trim has a lacquer coating on it or if it's just aluminum?

I don't want to try to remove [or hide them] if it's going to ruin the trim as my local Audi specialist says a new trim is over £200 quid!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hmmmm.

Thanks Diesel Nut... but, is Valet Magic another member on this forum or some company I would need to contact for advice?

Thanks again!

Hi try some autosol which you can buy from any decent auto part factor, or if you have a buffing machine some g3 best stuff out there will clean up pretty good and take the scratches out.
