I have the two button flick out type key fobs for my Sharan 1.9 TDi (2002 model). This type not shown in manual. How do you change the battery?:confused:
Having discussed with a Golf owner, same type of key fob, found way in!
Open key and use small screwdriver in slot, twist, this seperates the key from button section. Carefully insert small screwdriver in between top and bottom halves of button section where a rubber seal is situated and slowly prise to halves apart. This will expose a common CR2032 "penny" battery, only £1.99 from Maplin.
