You have pr codes in your sticker in service book or around spare wheel, follow those by online catalogue!

If you look on www.oemepc.com you can search by VIN to see what brakes are right for you. Just be aware there could be in-model variations depending on your engine size, fuel type, trim line etc

You want to look for a part that usually begins with a "1". For example on my S5 my my rear brakes are 1KE and fronts 1LJ.

As mentioned above, you can also look on the silver sticker with all the codes. From memory, rear brakes are the 7th code and front the 9th.

That’s brilliant I will look but could Audi tell me exactly if I called up and asked ?

Yes, they should if you give them your VIN.

Are you just doing discs or including pads?
Front pads are the trickiest - the passenger side (on a RHD car anyway) has a wear sensor that is a right pain to get off and away but I'll post the links to the videos tomorrow when I can find them.

Rear requires VCDS (or Carista/OBDeleven) and the advice is that:
- ideally connect a battery charger as the voltage drops significantly. If your car battery is borderline flat you could irreparably damage it
- once you open the parking brake, wait 30 seconds before hitting "Done, go back".
- don't forget to close the parking brake with the first two steps in mind as well when you've finished.
The other fiddly thing with the rear are the anti-rattle clips. Taking them off is fun. Putting them back on requires a little bit of technique - I found it easier to hook one end and the middle in place and then use pliers to manoeuvre the other end into place.

Ok cheers for the info I did see about leavin the vcds for 30 seconds before going back and my battery should be fine as it’s a recent new battery . I have had the rear off before as a couple months ago done the wheel bearing . This time it’s all pads and discs
