Glow Plugs warning Light - Help

Sorry - really womaney question here. The Glow Plug warning light came on inmy car the other night (whilst i was driving and had been driving for about 30 mins). What does this mean and what do i have to do about it? Does it mean i should'nt drive the car?

Sorry to aks but i really know nothing about cars.

There is a fault registrated in the engine control unit.A small possibility but check your brake lights,have you been driving with a trailer?(faulty wiring),on this will blow the fuse, and the glow plug warning will come on,otherwise you are ging to need a fault read out.normally you can drive the car

normaly if the glow plug light flashes its the brake light switch down by your brake pedal

Can also be reversing lights or reversing switch is duff.
