Hi guys,

Anyone out there experienced the HD matrix lights? Currently got standard LED's on a C7, wondering if the difference is significant.

Also anyone seen the 20 inch upgraded alloy in the real world. I'm talking about the 5 arm ones that look like the spiritual successors to the Rotors. Every demonstrator I have seen in showrooms with 20 inch upgraded alloy seems to have the other option. They do look great but I am thinking the Rotor type ones might be an interesting combination.. Be good to hear your opinions out there.

I've got the matrix LEDs (one between standard and HD matrix), they are standard on S Line.

Tried them out this evening on motorway, A and B roads. Quite disconcerting to have main beam on while on an busy motorway, but they work well. Constantly changing which parts are being illuminated based on direction and traffic. Very good while on B roads, but can't say i noticed a huge amount of difference from the standard LEDs I had on my C7 BE.

So long as you remember the bigger the alloy the stiffer the ride, you decide on the trade off.

2 C7's over the last 6 years, both on 20 inch rims nothing left of my lower spine to destroy..! But I hear you👍

I've gone from 20s to 19s on the C8.

Got to admit it is a *much* nicer ride. Still looks good, particularly with the new flared arches.

I had 20's on my A7 and the ride was great. I went for the 20's 5 spoke sport option on the C8 and car feels a bit firmer but not bad at all.
Slight trade off for the looks but def worth it.
I could never work this out when people complain how hard the ride is. Some folks must have cut about on magic carpets prior.. lol

I'm going from 22" to 19". And looking forward to less road noise & cheaper tyres.

Don't get me wrong the larger wheels look great & ride was acceptable. My only niggle was tyre noise & tyre costs.
