Please don't buy A6 c8 at the moment.my experience show lot of bugs.dont touch one yet may be after a year .******* ship have no clue.i wish I kept 5 series.far better.dont be fooled by touch screen.rubish.........

Please be more specific, what kind of bugs you are talking about?Fuel pump making lot of noise.starting morning car start shaking violently.lot of squeak on door and dash.can in garage for change of fuel pump.ànd only less than 800 miles.

And will take 2 weeks for part to come from Germany.when I ask dealer to change car for me .he says only if car not repairable.
Like if I am driving and engine goes in blast.......
My question is in this scenario driver may not drive anymore .
Why he need a car than

What is so bad with your car? By the sound of it you have a noisy fuel pump - a generic component that is probably a universal VAG part - and some trim rattles. Irritating but hardly the end of the world.

Your always going to get issues with some cars, even if they have been in production for years. I rejected a C7 back in 2016, and the replacement C7 has been faultless.

Rattle and creaks in dash and console a big issue for me with 2018 A6 C8 returned to dealer for a week and said its fixed , seems to happen as the car chassis flex and then again for no reason , at random , (technician put up 400 klms “Checking it “ being returned tomorrow looking forward to see if it’s fixed , love the look of the car but can’t help thinking the C7 is a better chassis , never a problem from new , will keep you posted

As I mentioned in a different thread - I'm also hearing some buzzing/vibration/rattling in the dash from the passenger side. I'm guessing it's the clips from the aluminium decor. I will have it checked by the dealer on Friday. They mentioned putting some tape under it...Also I need to have the comfort opening of the boot sensor replaced + will complain about the cameras not being available from time to time...

Did the tape fix the problem? Mine has been in three times for the rattles from the dash board. started with a rattle in the middle now rattles above glove box and far right hand side by the light switches.

Rattles seem to have diminished, thankfully... strange warning alarms come on intermittently for no reason on the dash , then rectify themselves later and reset .. no software updates available as yet according to the service manager, it’s the cars computer self testing . Overall not as good as the C7 it replaced imo .

Mine was in for a couple of rattles. They removed the speedo and the windscreen vents and put on the tape. All good so far! The tech did say that some of the earlier cars had the rattle from the passenger side but they have sen less of those with the newer cars. Maybe something to look forward to! 2200 miles so far and very happy.

Mine is a brand new 69 plate, 6 wks old & touch wood zero issues.

Like you, very happy with my purchase. Ironically I purchased to save me fuel & hardly used it yet!

Should have a good run next week, only covered 250 miles so far!

Yip totally agree i bought the new A6 back in March , i have had 9 months of continulal electrical faults , Audi Assit keep going off bring the car to an Emergency stop , Known fault , Doors lock themselves and dis arm the Keys , so you cant get back in , Also a known fault , Full of electrical clitches , Handbrake fault , lighting faults , dash rattles , i could go on and on , really poor build quality , Audi customer services not interested , I had the previous model A6 for 4 years , brilliant car and very relaible , wich i had just kept it , so i would totally agree dont buy .
