View Full Version : Is it me or has Drive Select just given up?

Not that I’ve use it much (frankly, never) but it seems my Drive Select has stopped functioning. When I try and access via the dash or screen, neither fires up the menu. I just get the error screen stating ‘the selected system is currently unavailable’. I’ve tried accessing with ignition on, off, before a long journey, after a short hop...nothing.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way I could ‘reboot’ it into life or does that require a visit back to the dealer?

That is odd. Ideally it needs to be hooked upto a diagnostic tester to check what is going on, but that could be ODBEleven (if you have) or VCDS etc otherwise yes, the dealer will be able to see what is going on

Personally though, (if your comfortable doing so) I'd remove the negative lead from the battery first, leave it a few mins and put it back on... thats about a proper reboot as your ever going to get.
