In a b6 quattro. Avk code I believe.
Anything to look for?

Cam belt rarely get done correctly as no one has the 24v tools anymore. These engines are terrible for oil leaks but if looked after will run forever. If they do suffer a big failure like cam belt, it is the end of the road for the car.

we've had a 3.0 V6 petrol convertible for 10 years now, probably done about 50k miles in her in that time. Aside from service parts and a new clutch and DMF last year @ 115k miles (£1,000), had no issues. Few sensors been replaced in that time (cam position x 2, engine speed etc), cambelt done once about 4 years ago (cost about £550 if i remember correctly at a local VAG specialist)

Lovely engine and sounds great with lots of grunt, we love her to bits :)
