Hey everyone
Wanting some advice and troubleshooting if possible for my Audi A1 1.6 TDI
Main issues are:
When starting the car and driving the car the engine makes a loud knocking noise. Doesn’t do this every time but more often than not. Sometimes there can be drop in power and I have to increase the revs to get going. The knocking noise seems to disappear when the engine had been running for a little while.
Second issue is in fourth or fifth gear the engine seems to struggle and judders every so slightly it’s as if the engine needs is being held back and the judder only seems to disappear when I increase speed. Even doing 40 on fourth it can happen.
Any ideas? Apologies if I’ve been too vague
