Puddle lights

A colleague has just got a 2018 SQ5 and it has the Audi rings puddle lights. My 2017 s5 Sportback does not have these in its spec, When were they introduced as standard? Has anyone installed them as an upgrade and what is the cost from a dealer. Easy to do myself. Anyone got a good Chinese alternative that lasted more than 2 weeks?

I got mine from Alibaba, no problems, been fitted over a year.
Genuine from Audi are extortionate.

Operation completed and now have "S5" in front doors and rings in the rear. Got them from led4car on fleabay. These have the large socket but small socket on lead fits into it fine. Not as tacky as you may think! Nice and cheap feature but no idea how long they will last.

PS did buy some £7 versions on eBay and they did not fit.

PPS on rear doors you lever down from the font of the car (in front it is from the rear of car)

The units look as good as the OEM I took out, nice and bright!
