Hi all, new to the forum and new to VW, and new to all things scanner related and having 2 codes and some amber lights 30mins after collecting my 2012 Caddy last week from auction I feel it would be good to get a scanner, sorry if the mac question has been asked before. (My dad also has a 2004 FSI Golf so it may come in handy)
What is the best OBD scanner out there that people recommend? Can they work with Mac or is it mostly PC? I thought I saw a US YouTube video with an OBD working with an iPhone app (Torq?).
I also do not know of the limitations of these over the VCDS HEX or Vag-com. The caddy scans were P246E and P2463 and the sensor is begins replaced.
Can general ODB readers scan all codes, and clear them?
Many thanks
