Spent most my life saving wrecked VW aircooled from the rot.
Finally managed to get rid of them & to stop going to VW shows to sell off my years of hoarding.
Life was more simpler then. Now is the time to get my son's into the grey art of fixing things vehicular.
Sadly I forgot about the new terror immobilizers, dashboards, ecu's & smart electronics.
Owned one of the earliest Skodas I have seen. Just imagine trying to get a new set of points for one.
Next came the 6v VW beetle 1200cc, then 1302 later VW Polo VW Golf the Type 2's type 25's Double Crew cab & Camper conversions.
Nowadays a Ford Focus or a Land Rover Discovery still have an Audi A4 Avant in pieces.
My son has acquired a VW POLO 2005 BMD 1.2 E 3 dr Hatchback
