Ambiant Temperature

Hi

Just aquired a 2001 1.8t Sport estate :D. Great car, but has a couple of minor issues :(.

The ambiant temperature reading is wrong, was reading -5 degrees earlier, while the wifes car was reading 13 degrees.

I am guessing that the sensor is faulty, could someone please advise where the sensor is located?

I eventually found this post http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=6589 I somehow missed it when I was searching before I posted.

But... before I had time to look into it any further it sprang to life! How about that :D
