Hi

just wondering if anybody had same problem and if they knew what it was, thought it might be a a dodgy sensor was going to have a closer look tomorrow.

Sometimes moves other times doesnt, even when warm.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Mine did...

17664 - Engine Coolant Temp Sensor (G62): Open or Short to Plus
P1256 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0 0 X X X

Sorted now by the garage I got the car from (under warranty) :)
Quite funny really, it didn't even show up as a problem on the gauge (idle was high once on warm start, apart from that no sign) but vagcom found it. The garage had no problems about changing it though as it is a common problem.

expect to pay not much more than £10/12 :)

and it's a doddle to fix, 10 minute job for the most novice of owners :beerchug:

Cost £27 a Green one too, replaced in 5 minutes all fine now.

Dropped Cir Clip so got car on ramps and found zorst had a nice couple of holes in it so repaired it with a nice bit of Stainless, lol and had to re weld all mounts all sound now.

Thanks for Info Guys
