NEED HELP ON WHAT SIZE RIMS I CAN FIT ON A MK5 GOLF.
WOULD LIKE TO FIT 19" BBS (CH) BUT WILL I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH BUFFIN ARCHES? ABS SENSORS AND THE LIKE?
BEEN LOWERED 30mm ON EIBACH SPRINGS SO THE SOONER YOU HELP ME THE SOONER I CAN FILL THE ARCHES..

On a Mk5 golf I should think 19s would be pretty much the limit. They've got HUGE arches. My Skoda has fairly small arches so you can comfortably get 17s in them, 18s with elastic band tyres. I opted for VW 17s on mine. I doubt the 30mm drop will affect it. A 60mm+ drop on mine hasn't.

ABS sensors should be in the hub so that won't be affected by a rim swap. The only things that "could" happen would be if the wheel/tyre combo of the new wheels was heavier you would experience more sluggish acceleration. If the tyres are wider than oem you would find better grip, but worse economy. A bigger rolling radius might also affect acceleration, etc due to it throwing the gearing out. Keep RR changes to within 3% or so if it has to be changed at all.
