S-tronic gearbox reliable??

Hello everyone. Im about to buy an audi a3 2.0 tfsi s-tronic from 2006 and i would like to ask you all about the reliability of the engine and gearbox with all goods and bads. I know its a old car but my budget it’s short too. Thx everyone!!!

Hi Andrew,
Welcome to the forum. You might be best asking on the A3 forum as well. Can't comment on your model but our S3 has been perfect. Ours is one of the last with the 6 speed dsg. All I would say is make sure the servicing is complete including the gearbox oil changes.
