Hi All
On my way home I was doing 60 mph via cruise control when the car started losing speed. I pressed the accelerator a couple of times and it changed gears and the revs went up but still losing speed and power. So I pulled over and engine cut out and could not be restarted.
According to my mechanic it could be the high pressure fuel pump in the engine bay but he is going to test and confirm later.
Anybody has any similar experiences?
Is the fuel pump a dealer only part?
