HELP IS NEEDED belt and tensioner mk4 pd130 golf

Hi guys, wondered if you could help me out. Got a mk4 golf gt tdi with a pd130 engine, my aux belt was giving of a squeal so I changed both the belt and the tensioner, it stopped for a little while and now it’s doing it again but I don’t know why it has plenty of power steering fluid in it, anybody know what’s up???????

The alternator pulley has failed, it should drive clockwise and slip anti lock, if it fails the tensioner gets beaten to death.

Thankyou, you were right got a new alternator and it’s sorted the problem fine, ��������

You could just have fitted a new pulley.....

The clutch in the alternator had gone aswell so just bought a new alternator
