heated seat wiring loom

I have a 2007 SEAT Altea 1.9tdi in which I am about to fit the climate control unit from the 09-12 model (5P0907044S) with heated seats. Just wondering is there a wiring kit on the market that would fit this?

I have fitted the climate control unit (5P0907044S) on the car and the unit works perfectly. Can someone tell me which plug A,B or C that plug the back of the unit has the wires for the heated seats or do I have do some rewiring for this to work.

If the car didn't come with heated seats the wires won't be there, they should be in the 20 pin connector at the back of the heater controls. pin 10. 11, 12, I'm in the process of trying to wire the heated seats I've just put in my golf bit or a nightmare getting a loom. Probably will end up getting one of kufatec website,if you have fitted heated seats when getting the loom make sure you get one for the year of the seats not the year of your car,

Thanks Ste81 for this information been waiting ages for this I myself have had so much difficulty trying to get the loom. One thing I wanted to ask you would the universal kits that come with the pads, wiring and switches available on the internet do the same job?

Not sure, as my seats have the heat elements in them so not looked into that,

No problem just thought it might be an option. You mention that pins 10, 11 & 12 are to do with the heated seats at the back of the climate control do you know which wires go in these pins from the loom?

Will be the 3 small wires with the spade ends then there will be 3 wires or two depending if your seats have lumbar support with clips on the end that go into the fuse box then there will be a wire with a round end on it that will go to the car body to be earthed

So basically the 3 wires with the spades go into go into the 20 pin connector at the back of the heater controls?

I have looking for some heated seats for my Altea but unfortunately not a lot of SEAT ones available but I been told that the VW Golf seats would fit. Which MK Golf seats would fit?

Found some Golf Plus seats that fit into my Altea. My mechanic thought he'd test the seats before installing them by using a direct feed he tells me that the seats are not heating up. Should the seats heat like this because I know that VW seats only heat up when someone is sitting on them?

Yes the seats will only warm up if sat on
