battery problems

Hi all. I have an 03 150TT and its died on me 4 times . Each time it has been a battery problem/alternator. Any one else experienced this. I have now had 2 new batteries in 12 months!

WOW! that's not much to go on! has the alternator been replaced as well? Has anyone tested the charging system to see if it is charging properly? is there anything draining the battery while stationary? Regards www.carelectrician.co.uk (http://www.carelectrician.co.uk)
