HID kits? eBay?

I’m looking for recommendations for a hid kit for my A3, are the eBay ones any good, can’t believe you can get them for about £25 now!

They are illegal for road use under the MOT and construction and use act plus they are illegal to buy and sell.

Plus they look chavvy and blind me! Go the proper route and have the full upgrade to proper xenons with auto levelling, get a car with them fitted or don’t bother

We have a Golf 7 TDI in that has been "upgraded" before sale to an unsuspecting young lad and his dad by some dodgy damaged repairable car sales "people", to proper full GTI HID lights, the problem is the central electrics unit will not control them so this was the "installers" remedy to get the dip beams working.... brilliant...:smashfrea The mains still don't work.

Ah got, that’s that one out the window then, I’d rather go the whole hog and get headlights with them already part of in that case
