MMI firmware

I believe 0976 is the latest MMI firmware. Mine is running 0113. When I called Audi to ask about an update, I was told it’s not something they do unless there are problems with the one it’s on. I find CarPlay doesn’t always boot up, this is my biggest issue. Does the updated firmware solve this? Surely it should run the latest firmware regardless of issues?Ta

I had mine updated about a month ago, I’ve no idea what the version is though unfortunately. Assuming that’s the latest version, I can confirm CarPlay is still awful at starting up 90% of the time.

i find unplugging and plugging back in is the only way to get it to connect, after going through the menus.

I get the same problem with my carplay.

I also sometimes get the whole MMI rebooting itself while driving sometimes. Only happens when carplay is active. My version is something like 0126.

I'm going to try and get them to update it when it's in with them next week for the "Aerodynamic trim" service campaign (also known as "sticking bits of plastic back on properly") :D
