Bluefin

Yep, I've gone to The Dark Side, and become a petrol head once again! Gone are the previous Golf GT Tdi 130 and latterly, the Bora Sport TDi 150 (mark 4s); to be replaced with a Golf GTI mark 5. My God, what a better handling car the mark 5 is!
Anyway, my question is, has anybody had experience of using Superchips' Bluefin product? All comments welcome, thanks.

got a remap from superchips bluefin. had rolling road session just to check, and is now putting out 191.4bhp
Really easy to use and only took 20 mins for them to send the remap back to me .

hi,i bought a bluefin for my o7 gti fsi turbo from superchips and i got an extra 40 bhp and 20% extra torque. at £599 it is pricey but well worth it. the extra power is superb,easy to install too,

what was the OG Hp?! 140?

i didnt get a read out of the hp before, it is a GT TDI 140, but as you prob know VW are quite conservative with their figures, some have been roaded at 155bhp standard..
Had it done 8 months ago, and no probs so far...
Hybrid turbo next, as the mk 5 turbo cant take any more boost. Its the weak link in the mk 5 diesels.

have you had any probs with your remap,???? iv had it done for about 8 months now, and no probs so far..
My mate has a 07 gti, and it a bit scared to do a remap, i will show him your reply and it might convince him...

ive had no probs at all,i installed it when the car was just 2 weeks old,obviously i drove it sensibly for a few miles to run the car in but it has been absolutely fine,superchips will repair your car for you if there is any damage caused by the remap,hope this helps,

no me neither but that's what they reckon,iv'e done 7k with no probs,if your are worried about it then don't do it. 200 bhp standard is pretty good. you can get it chipped to 265 brake but that's probably pushing it,
