Hi folks!
My '91 Audi 100 2.0E's engine is getting a bit long in the tooth now (170k miles). Whilst I know they're good for more, I think now's the time to explore re-engine possibilities.
By looking at the golf engines, I reckon there's not too many differences between those and the audi lump. What I'm wondering though, is how easy would it be to put a golf unit in?
Do the gearbox and golf unit marry up? Are there any things that have to be changed to get this to work? Also, what are the possibilities of putting a bigger golf lump in there?
Has anyone on here done this before that can give me some advice?
