New Polo Navigation system

My wife is collecting her new VW Polo shortly - fitted with a Discover Navigation System. Am I correct in thinking no extra SD card is required?
I ask as on the 2010 VW Polo (her old car) the navigation system required an extra SD card.

If it is the same system as the Golf,which I suspect it is then it will come with an sd card pre installed with maps.This must be in the sd card slot on the unit for navigation to work.
