Ack. Signal 'on'

Hello guys,

My very first post & already have a question. In Central Locking settings got 'Ack. signal on' Anybody know what this means?

Audi a4 sline 2008 143 2.0tdi

It's the little chirp when you press the lock button on the key fob .. is an acknowledgement signal that the car has been locked.

Ahh thanks for that Chris. Does chirp but only when locking.
