hi all just been on the vin decoder to find about my engine and i got this up is it a decent engine.

The audi 5 cylinder lumps are usually pretty sound. Trouble is with modern engines is they tend to be around 140hp as well but from a normal 2 litre 4 pot. For it's day though, that was a serious engine. Must be at least 15 years old now.
