What's this button

Hi can anyone tell me what the button to the right of the quote button in the posts in a thread is?

It it goes red when I press it!

It allows you to quote multiple posts in your reply ;)

As Sam as stated. .. if you want to reply to more than one post you click the button to go red... once done click reply and it opens/quotes all the selected posts
