Galaxy S7 smartphone interface not recognising!!

Hi All, I connect my phone via USB, then go to the smartphone interface and it says no compatible phone recognised (it is connected via Bluetooth also). If I go into connection manager, it just wants to use Android Auto.
I've tried a factory reset for the smartphone interface, wi-fi, Bluetooth etc, and still nothing. :aargh4:

Try a different cable m8, same happened to my s6 edge, cheaper cables can't handle the throughput

Thanks for replying, I've tried a couple of standard cables that are from branded items i.e. TomTom.
Could you possibly post a link please or the sellers name.

Hi, Sorry I totally forgot to reply, no joy with the cable, I need to go back to Audi, MME app says my sim isn't registered.
